Originally from Kitchener, Ontario, Gregory Rennie has been based in Toronto since 2009.
Educated at the University of Waterloo, he obtained a BA in Social Development, followed by a Bachelor of Social Work degree. He subsequently obtained a diploma from McMaster University upon completion of the Addiction Careworker program. More recently, he obtained a certificate from the University of Toronto in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
With ten years experience in the mental health and addictions field, Gregory has worked in a diverse range of roles from outreach to addictions specialist and concurrent disorders specialist.
Gregory has participated on many boards and committees in southwestern Ontario including the Mood Disorders Assocation; Grand River Hospital; and Waterloo Regional Homes for Mental Health.
In addition to being a member of CACCF, Gregory is also certified by ICADC and is a registered social worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Currently, he is an addiction therapist at Homewood Health Centre and is also the founder and CEO of Hasu eCounselling.
