Cognitive Behavior Therapy with Clients who Deliberately Self Harm

Deliberate Self-Injury (DSH), now classified in DSM-5 as Nonsuicidal Self-injury (NSSI) is prevalent during adolscence, and becoming increasingly more so, is the deliberate, self-inflicted destruction of body tissue without suicidal intent and for purposes not socially sanctioned, includes behaviours such as cutting, burning, biting, and scratching skin.  This online Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Learning Program for working with clients who deliberately self-harm (DSH) is designed for Mental Health Professionals who work with (or are planning to work with) clients who deliberately self -harm (DSH).  Applicants are welcome from professionals employed in inpatient treatment settings, group homes, therapy clinics, private practioner offices, physicians' offices, schools, and more.  If you have any questions regarding the suitability of your professional qualifications, please send us an email or call.
